3 Days Gorilla Trekking Rwanda, Gorilla Safari Experience
Take a 3 days Rwanda Gorilla Trekking in the Volcanoes National Park, the habitation for the mountain gorillas in Rwanda. During the safari, you will do gorilla trekking supplemented with any of the two activities; Golden Monkey Trekking or Hike to Dian Fossey grave site.
Itinerary for 3 days Gorilla Trekking at Volcanoes National park
Day 1: Do a brief Kigali City Tour & drive to Volcanoes National Park
The 3 Days Rwanda Gorilla Trek starts with a picked up from your hotel in Kigali or from Kigali airport by our driver guide. The guide will then take you for a city tour that involves visiting the Genocide Memorial Centre plus other tourist places in Kigali before driving northwards to the Volcanoes national park. This park is the natural habitat for the Mountain Gorillas in Rwanda. Take dinner and overnight at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge or La Palme Hotel.
Day 2: Gorilla Safari at Volcanoes National Park and an afternoon nature/cultural walk
This is the day for a marvelous and a long-awaited gorilla safari adventure. After breakfast, transfer to and assemble at the park headquarters for a briefings regarding the gorilla tour. Well-set in your trekking gears and drinking water, ascend in the hilly forest to visit gorillas in the wild. It is an interesting hiking full of amazing scenes and experiences. Upon meeting your ‘forest host’ the gorillas, you will feel a sigh of relief followed by extreme excitement. You will stay in the gorillas for one hour with them as you take photos, observing closely as you appreciate all the safari efforts right from the gorilla permit booking stage. After a memorable gorilla tracking safari, return to the lodge and take a delightful lunch. In the evening, time allowing you may go for community walk or nature walk. Have dinner and enjoy an overnight stay at the same lodge as the previous night.
Day 3: Either Trek Golden Monkeys or enjoy Dian Fossey Grave Hike and drive back to Kigali
On this day, you have two tour options. You will choose either to go to trek Rwanda golden monkeys or decide to hike to Dian Fossey grave. The whole process for any of the two activities is closely similar to that of gorilla safaris. On return, you will have lunch and then after transfer back to Kigali arriving in the evening. This marks the end of a 3 Days Gorilla Trekking Rwanda.
