This 5 days Whitewater Rafting and Wildlife Safaris Uganda involves visiting the Source of the River Nile in Jinja, enjoying white water rafting on the Nile River, touring Murchison Falls National Park for game safaris and Kampala City for sightseeing.
Day 1: Drive to Jinja; Do Rafting and Visit the Source of The Nile,
After breakfast, our company representative drives you to Jinja and it will take you about two hours. Enjoy Rafting in Uganda on the magnificent river Nile, the longest river in the world. Visit the source of river Nile discovered by the British explorer, John Speke and after that, drive back to Kampala where you will arrive in late evening and stay for an overnight stay at City Blue Hotels or Hotel Sojovalo
Day 2: Drive To Murchison Falls National Park Wildlife tour
Eat your breakfast and set off for Murchison Falls National Park. The trip will offer you with great beautiful sceneries. Have lunch en route and you will arrive in the park in the evening and be transferred to the lodge for overnight stay. Stay at Pakuba Safari Lodge or Paraa Safari Lodge.
Day 3: Game Drive Tour, Launch Cruise and Hiking to the Top of the Falls
After breakfast and a nice tea, start a game drive before dawn to catch up with predators and early risers. This exciting game drive will offer you with animals like the jackals, hyenas, giraffe, lion, antelope, elephant and the Uganda kob among others. You will rest from the game drive for anything to eat and later lunch after midday. The afternoon time will be for an open cruise on the Victoria Nile. The Murchison Falls boat cruise will take you to the bottom of the falls where animals like the buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, elephants and plenty of water birds like fish eagles and rare shoe-bills and many more will not escape your sight. After the boat cruise, you will hike to Top of the falls Murchison for mesmerizing views of nature at its fine. Seeing River Nile running wildlife through a small gorge creating a misty environment is incredibly awesome. You will later drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Pakuba Safari Lodge or Paraa Safari Lodge.
Day 4: Transfer to Kampala with Rhino Trekking en route at Ziwa Rhino Ranch
After breakfast, set off for Kampala and stop by at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to trek Rhinos which have been adapted at this ranch. After rhino trekking, you will have lunch before proceeding to Kampala city where you will arrive in the evening. Overnight stay at City Blue Hotels or Hotel Sojovalo
Day 5: Kampala City Tour, Transfer to Entebbe Airport
Based upon you flight schedule, you will go for a Kampala city tour to have an insight in the cultures and the rich historical heritage of Uganda. Among the Kampala tourist attractions to Places to visit include the Kasubi tombs , Namirembe Cathedral, Bahai temple , Namugongo martyrs shrine and Uganda Museum among others. The guide will transfer you to the airport after lunch for your flight back home. This will mark the end of River Nile Whitewater Rafting and Wildlife Safaris in Uganda.
