3 Days Lake Bunyonyi Tour

Day 1: Drive from Kampala to Lake Bunyonyi for a Nature tour

In the morning, our driver-guide picks you from your hotel in Kampala and drives you to Lake Bunyonyi in south western Uganda between Kisoro and Kabale near the Uganda–Rwanda border. The lake is one of the amazing tourist sites in Western Uganda. Along the way, stop at Mpambire Drum makers and the Uganda Equator at Kayabwe, for souvenirs and photo moments. Proceed through Masaka and have a lunch break in Mbarara town before driving further to Kabale. From Kabale, take the road to Kisoro town and you will find the lake on the way. Dinner and overnight stay at Bunyonyi Safari Resort, Bunyonyi Overland Resort or Arcadia Cottages.

Day 2: Lake Bunyonyi Tour: Visit Batwa, Canoe ride/cruise, Birding and Sightseeing

After breakfast, visit the distinctive Batwa and Abaheesi (black smiths) societies or to the Bukora Cave. Have lunch at the resort and use the afternoon or evening for a boat ride, canoeing or go for a cycling tour of the area, going to Orugano Rain Forest which has diverse plants and animals and some community tourism through interaction with the Batwa (pygmies) who inhabit parts of the forest and its surrounding areas. Dinner and overnight stay at Bunyonyi Safari Resort, Bunyonyi Overland Resort or Arcadia Cottages.

Day 3: Drive back to Kampala
