2 Day City Tours: Jinja and Kampala City Tour

Day 1: Transfer to Jinja.

Enjoy your morning breakfast at the loge or hotel from where our driver/guide will meet you and transfer you to Jinja a place of wonders found in northern eastern Uganda. You will embark on the journey and the road to Jinja passes through Uganda’s largest tropical forests – Mabira. You will stop over at the forest as you spot out for the Colobus Monkeys and a lot of bird species.

After a short visit to the forest, continue to Jinja City reaching at the Owen Fall Dam which is the source of hydroelectric power for Uganda. Proceed to the source of the River Nile where there is also Ripon Falls a place where John Speke stood. From this point continue to the point of undoubtedly thrilling white water rafting adventure on the same rive Nile. Return to Kampala with a stopover at Ssezibwa falls, waterfalls in Uganda believed to have been born by Human beings. Thereafter, return to Kampala reaching late in the evening at your loge/hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Kampala Sheraton hotel, Hotel Africana, Kampala Serena hotel.

Day 2: Kampala city tour

On this day, you will enjoy your breakfast as the driver is waiting for you .Embark on Kampala city/urban tour visiting places like Makerere University, Bahai temple the one of its kind in the whole of Africa, drive to Namugongo Martyrs’ Shrine, Uganda museum, National theatre for the art and crafts, move around the city to discover places like Hotels, Post office and even bars and restaurants. In the evening visit the famous Kasubi Tombs a place where the 4 Buganda Kings are buried. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight as on day one.
