Kajjansi Airfield – an Airstrip along Entebbe Road in Uganda

Kajjansi Airfield is an airfield serving as an air craft flight operation, it is found in central region of Uganda. The airfield is just 20 kilometers north east of Entebbe international airport which is Uganda s largest airport and 16 kilometers south of central Kampala the largest and capital city of Uganda.

Kajjansi is found in the southern section of Kampala district. The airstrip is east of the Kampala –Entebe road, bordering swampland near Lake Victoria.

The airfield is owned and operated by mission aviation fellowship (MAF) an international Christian humanitarian relief and development organisation. Around mid of 2010 the Christian Engineering Ministries International (EMI) engineering charity redeveloped the terminal building of the airfield. The original terminal construction turn out to be the headquarters of both MAF Uganda and EMI East Africa
