Association of Uganda Tour Operators (AUTO)

The Association of Uganda Tour Operators (AUTO) is an umbrella body that brings all reputable and professional Uganda tour operators together.

AUTO is Uganda’s leading tourism trade association, representing the interests of the country’s leading and experienced professional tour operators. Members offer a range of services, which can be broadly divided into the following categories Special interest safaris, Air safaris, Incentive travel group safaris, Custom safaris for individual travelers, Camping safaris (luxury and budget).

Animal Safaris is on the list of travel agencies and tour operators in Uganda and strives much to ensure that it follows professional standards and guidelines in delivery tour services. As one of the tour operators and travel Companies in Uganda, Animal Safaris is accountable to AUTO where it belongs.

AUTO has got over 300 members, a number that has risen over the years and is still widening as the tourism industry grows bigger.

What do tour operators offer?

A tour operator is responsible for operating and providing vacation safaris and tours by booking, packaging and organizing accommodation, transportation, meals, guides, tour activities and sometimes flight bookings.
