5 Days Bwindi Gorilla Tours and Wildlife Safaris in Uganda

Visit Uganda and enjoy Bwindi Gorilla Tours in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. After gorilla trekking in Buhom sector in the north of the park, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and end with Lake Mburo National Park where you do game drives and boat cruises at both toursit attractions.

Detailed Itinerary 

Day 1: Pick from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Enjoy a Boat Cruise

Our tour guide picks you at the hotel in Kampala or Entebbe and drives you to Queen Elizabeth National Park, having a brief stopover at the Uganda Equator. Make a lunch stop in Mbarara Mbarara town and advance to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On arrival you will go for an evening boat ride on Kazinga Channel where you will see various water birds and animals like the hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight at Mweya safari lodge or Ihamba Safari Lodge.

Day 2: Game Drive, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Game drive and transfer to Bwindi Forest. On arrival you will go for a community stride where you will come in contact with different tribes and cultures including the Batwa who used to reside in caves. You will be entertained by the local people. Dinner and overnight at Silver back Lodge, Buhoma Lodge or Buhoma Bandas.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking Safari Adventure in Bwindi Forest.

This is the day for an amazing Gorilla safari in the forest of Bwindi. The  movement begins very early in the morning. After an early morning breakfast you will go for gorilla trekking. As you track gorillas, you will be able to see other primates like lhoest monkey, black and white colobus monkey, red tailed monkey and many others. In the evening you will go for a guided forest walk. Dinner and overnight at Silver back Lodge, Buhoma Lodge or Buhoma Bandas.

Day 4: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park, Take an evening Boat Ride 

Have breakfast and drive to Lake Mburo National Park, having lunch in Mbarara town. On arrival in the afternoon, you will go for a game drive where you will see animals like the zebras, elephants, impalas, Uganda cobs, eland and others. In the evening you will go for a boat ride on Lake Mburo where you will see crocodiles, hippos and water birds.  Dinner and overnight at Mantana tented camp or Rwonyo rest camp

Day 5: Game Drive and return to Kampala

You will do an early morning game drive. After the drive you will have breakfast and then drive to Kampala. You will make a stopover at the equator for photography and souvenirs and then proceed to Kampala arriving in time to catch your departure flight.
