3 Day Congo Gorilla Safaris in the Virunga National Park 

Enjoy Congo Gorilla Safaris at the Virunga National Park, the home to Mountain Gorillas in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Day 1: Transfer to Kisoro from Kampala, Uganda or Kigali Rwanda.

Our guide /driver will pick you at the hotel in Kampala immediately after breakfast and set off to Kisoro southern parts of Uganda. You will have an enroute stop over at the equator for photograph. You will continue with the journey through the Ankole region where you will have a chance to see herds of cattle feeding near the roads, you will see local markets that are set just near the highway, plant vegetation’s, coffee plantations plus the cultivated hills in Kigezi region. You will stop in Kisoro town for your lunch and the town is just located on the borders between Rwanda and Democratic republic of Congo. Accommodation: Travelers rest Kisoro.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking

After your morning breakfast early in the morning, you will cross over to Democratic republic of Congo and head to Virunga National Park for the unforgettable adventure with the gorillas. This will be followed by briefing from the park rangers, before leaving for the trekking into the rain tropical forest looking for the habituated gorilla family. You will stay near to the attractive primates for a maximum of one hour, make remarks and photography. You are advised to carry with you packed lunch and enough drinking water. After tracking cross back to Kisoro-Uganda for dinner and overnight at your hotel. Accommodation: Travelers rest Kisoro.

Meal plan: Full board. 

Day 3: Drive back to Kampala.

After your delicious breakfast at the hotel, you set off back to Kampala or Entebbe.
