Kyaninga Lodge
Kyaninga Lodge is situated 15 minutes freestanding Fort Portal town. It set up on atop a hill overseeing striking blue crater waters of the lake; Kyaninga lodge enjoys remarkable attractive outlooks of the neighbouring scenery, built against a wonderful backdrop of Lake Kyaninga and of the Rwenzori Mountains in the distance. The lodge houses twenty visitors in eight elevated log cottages.
The rooms have big space for one to have comfortable stay and in case one feels getting out, you can have arrest on nice looking tennis court that is well set with green coverings on the ground.
Kyaninga lodge is made up of a severe grass lofty thatch cottages, each elegantly suspended on poles, streaming up a sharp summit, and concluding in a double-storey log building with Reception, Bar/Sitting Room, and a Dining Hall, made with a upper floor for those wanting to have dinner apart from the gathering. The cottages are interlinked with a wonderful Escher-like cascade of pleasing wooden set of steps and links, and oversee a spectacular background of pitches and forests on one side, a remarkable crater-lake and highlands on the other. The centres are discerningly completed in wood and thatch, with local fashioned wooden fixtures. The standard of service was excellent, and the food was blameless. The naturally responsive banana-leaf wraps for packing lunches were a nice touch.
Other more amenities include international chef, bar/lounge, and croquet. Swimming pool, tennis and badminton, plus other more activities such as hiking with attractive views that takes you to Lake Kyaninga.
