Mount Zulia is found in the Karamoja region in north eastern Uganda in the Kidepo Valley National Park. Mount Zulia at an elevation of 2,149 metres (7,051 feet) neighbors Mount Morungole plus the Labwor and Dodoth Hills whose heights reach in excess of 2,000 meters (6,600 feet) above the sea level. (the mountain is also called Losolia)
The Toposa people of Eastern Equatoria allege to have originated in the Losolia Mountains, running away in times of severe drought that killed both the beloved ones as well as animals. The jungles of the mountain are partially secured by the Mount Zulia Forest Reserve.
Mount Zulia can be hiked in one day same as the Lower Imatong Mountains. Whereas Mount Langia that is at the height of 3,029 meters is trekked in one or two days. The period from September to February are the most favorable months for undertaking hiking in this region.
