Day 1: Travel to Murchison Falls National Park, Enjoy Rhino Trekking En Route
After breakfast, start your trip to Murchison Falls National Park, along the way in Nakasongola District, you will visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking. You will spend 2 hours trekking rhinos and also have
lunch here before continuing with journey through Masindi up to the park as you view the green flat landscape. Arrive at the park in the evening.
Murchison Falls Park is a habitat to a large number of African wild animals including Water buffalo, elephant, Crocodile, Lion, Leopard, Hippopotamus, Antelope, Giraffes, Uganda Kob, Oribi and other animals.
The Nile River, within the park, is a home to a variety of water birds, including the uncommon Shoe bill stork.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive, Afternoon Boat Cruise and Evening Hiking to the Top of the Falls.
Morning Game Drive Safaris
After breakfast, start an early morning game drive before dawn to catch up with the early risers. This exciting game drive will enable you spot animals like the jackals, hartebeests, oribi, bush bucks, bohor reed bucks, hyenas, giraffes, lions, antelopes, elephants and the Uganda kob among the many. You will rest from the game drive for anything to eat and later on have lunch at the lodge.
Afternoon Boat Cruise Adventure on the Nile
The afternoon time will be for an open Launch cruise (Boat ride on the calm Nile). The boat trip will take you to the bottom of the falls where animals like the buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, elephants and plenty of water birds like the herons, cormorants, ducks, bee-eaters, kingfishers, skimmers, fish eagles, the rare shoebill and many more species can be viewed from the peaceful sailing boat. The base of the falls is also an awe-inspiring moment.
Hike to the Top of the Falls
After nearly a boat cruise, start a hike to the captivating Top of the Falls. The top of the falls is an incredible scene because it’s where River Nile, Africa’s the longest river goes through a narrow rock crevice (only 7 meters wide), before violently dipping 43 meters down. It’s also a spectacular photo opportunity. After an hour, less or more at the top of the falls, the driver will pick you up to transfer back to the lodge.

Day 3: Drive to Budongo Forest, enjoy the morning Chimpanzee Trekking
Wake up very early, enjoy your breakfast and then transfer to Budongo Forest in the south of the park. You drive straight to the administration office for briefing followed by hiking into the forest in search of the chimpanzees. Budongo forest is one of the areas in Uganda with a high number of chimps and so their visibility by tourists is quite amazing. After chimpanzee tracking safari, you will have lunch at Budongo Eco Lodge and relax in the evening.

Day 4: Nature Walk in Budongo Forest, Transfer Back to Kampala
In the morning, you will go for a nature walk in the rush green Budongo Forest. During this walk in the jungle, expect to see lots of birds and amazing tree species. Budongo Forest is one of the prime bird watching destinations in Uganda. The woodland covering 42 800 hectares is characterized by an average humid elevation with spots of Savanna and forest. This jungle reserve is on a a softly rolling scenery, with a widespread slope in the north northwestern side in the direction of the great Rift Valley. Budongo is drained by 4 small rivers including Sonso, Waisoke, Bubwa and Wake which pour into Lake Albert. There are five main forest categories including mixed forest, swamp-forest, Cynometra-mixed, colonizing and the Cynometra. The larger part of this forest reserve is shielded by humid high-forest zones. The Standard height semi-deciduous Cynometra-celtis forest covers about half of the entire forest while the Combretum grassland is broad within the drier sections. The forest has many Eco-tourism sites in Kaniyo Pabidi and Busingiro.
There is a lot to see in Budongo ranging from birds, insects, animals and plant species during the nature hike.
After this wonderful walk, drive back to Kampala with lunch en route.
