Full Murchison Safari Itinerary
Day 1 – Drive to Murchison Falls National Park, Hike to the Top of the Falls, Launch Cruise
Get ready for pick-up at 7.00 am from your hotel or any place of your convenience. Your driver will brief you about the trip’s entire program just before the start of a 6-hour road transfer to Murchison Falls National Park. In Luwero District your guide shall point out the historical implication this place to Uganda. During your cool ambiance drive, make a stopover to get some fruits like pineapples, jack fruits, passion fruits on the way. Continue to Masindi town where you will have an early lunch before proceeding to the park. This is usually the beginning of some of the great wildlife photo moments.
Top of the Falls

Launch Cruise

Day 2 – Morning Game Drive, Drive back to Kampala
Murchison Falls Game Drive Early morning, the driver will pick you for the game drive by 7.00 am. Usually the wee hours are fantastic times for catching up with early risers, nocturnal and hunters as they return to their hideouts. River Nile that passes between the park’s southern and northern sections has the northern corridor with higher concentrations of animals than the south. In case you lodge is on the southern side, you will need a ferry for crossing to the northern side. When you travel around the main game paths particularly around Paraa, be hopeful to have a glimpse of great wildlife sightings like the lions, giraffes, elephants, Jackson’s Hartebeests, spotted hyenas, Uganda kobs, warthogs, water-bucks, leopards plus many more. Late morning, you retire from the game drive and check out of the park to transfer back to Kampala. Have lunch in Masindi town and later advance to Kampala where you will be dropped off.
