Boat Cruise on the Nile
After lunch plus a few minutes of napping at the lodge’s comfortable facilities, you go for the boat cruise on River Nile. An open boat cruise on the calm Nile, offers you the imaginative feelings of the Caribbean, yet in you are on a safari in Uganda. The boat trip to the bottom of the falls gives you an opportunity to see several wild animals. These include the water buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, elephants and plenty of water birds like the herons, bee-eaters, cormorants and ducks. Others are skimmers, kingfishers, fish eagles plus the rare shoebill stork among the many species. A pacific sailing boat is the platform for viewing nature in the wonderland. The banks of the Nile River crossing through the park are a home to a variety of water birds and animals.
Hike to the Top of the Falls
After the boat sail, you will hike to the fascinating Top of the Falls. This spot is an incredible scene incontestably because it is where the River Nile, the world’s longest river goes through a narrow fracture of about 7 meters wide in the rock before aggressively tumbling down 43 meters, creating a dewy environment. At this point, do not miss a fabulous photo opportunity for memorial purpose. After an hour, less or more at the top of the falls, connect back to the lodge in the evening.
